Report posted by Capt. Lindsay Fuller of the June Bug on 7/30/08 Hi All, It's been a while since we posted reports since the Internet/website gremlins messed up our Reports page. In any event, looking back Inshore anyway, while we have had some very nice groups on board June Bug,the very cold inshore waters have not caused many fish to bite hard enough to hook up. The ones that do have been mostly shorts and barely flop around when they get to the boat they are so-o-o cold. Offshore, the water conditions could not be better, While the fish do move from day to day, they do have fins and tails, once you find the bait, you also find the Tuna. There have been quite a few White and Blue Marlin around plus some nice Wahoo as a bonus. We have found good success at our traditional spots, as always, since they seem to hold bait well. All it takes is to book a trip and get out there. Yep, we are well aware that fuel is up but when you figure the incremental difference in cost split between 6 guys, the difference isn't that much.
