Report posted by Capt. Lindsay Fuller of the June Bug on 7/27/09 June Bug fished the Feeney Family on Monday. None had ever been deep sea fishing before but were hot to try. We went straight to Little Egg Reef since it was only a half-day charter. Little Egg gave up a lot of Sea Bass but all but 2 were shorts. One angler did nail a nice 3' to 4' Brown Shark. There was plenty of tugging with that shark before it bit the leader as mate Capt. Nathan Figley pulled it toward the boat to release it. The wind and sea conditions were just enough to make the day a little rocky rolley. As the morning wore on, the sea did settle down to pretty much only swell. Capt. Lindsay Fuller Cell 856-778-0200 |
